The 21st Science and Technology Committee of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League held a symposium at our company.

On December 20, 2016, the "2016 Annual Work Symposium" convened by the 12th Science and Technology Committee of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League was held at Fujian Zhongke Jingchuang Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. Committee Director Liang Xuewu, and Deputy Directors Wu Wencai and Zhao Min, among others, were present.

 


At the beginning of the symposium, Dr. Liang Wanguo, head of Fujian Zhongke Jingchuang Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. and research group leader at the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, presented his vision for technological development and the core technological concepts of Zhongke Jingchuang's products, painting a comprehensive technological blueprint for the attendees. Dr. Liang spoke with great enthusiasm about his years of dedicated research in optics, each word a testament to his hard work and achievements. It is on this foundation—based on nationally leading core R&D achievements, a deeply dedicated R&D team, and a heartfelt passion for the field of optics—that Zhongke Jingchuang possesses the immense potential for rapid development. After Dr. Liang's inspiring presentation, the attendees, accompanied by company representatives, toured the company. During this tour, Dr. Liang explained the company's products in detail, including one of its core R&D achievements: the green laser. When lifelike images appeared on the large screen, everyone was amazed, witnessing the boundless power of scientific progress.

 


The final item on the agenda was a discussion among the participants about the development direction of the laser industry in Fujian Province. After a lively discussion, the applications of lasers were narrowed down to five areas: agriculture, medicine, displays, intelligent manufacturing, and communications. Committee Director Liang Xuewu pointed out that while Fujian's agriculture has been on an upward trend, it still lags behind other industries. Therefore, improving grain yields is crucial. Everyone agreed with this view, but the discussion continued. During this time, Dr. Liang Wanguo proposed linking lasers with agriculture, utilizing the high energy of lasers to promote grain growth and steadily increase yields. This idea was met with enthusiastic response and unanimous approval. Furthermore, laser medicine is currently a relatively advanced technology with significant development potential. Laser displays, intelligent manufacturing, and laser communications are also highly promising areas for industrial development. Everyone agreed that the development of the laser industry will have a significant impact on Fujian Province's innovative scientific research and economic development. The discussion continued, and before we knew it, the symposium was drawing to a close in a rich scientific atmosphere. This symposium provided an objective summary of 2016, which is drawing to a close, and at the same time, looked forward to the improvement of 2017, making it of great significance. More importantly, it closely integrated advanced laser science with the development of various fields of life, giving new vitality to technology. Scientific creation is the primary productive force, and we are still on the journey.
