PPLN/PPLT devicesBased on the quasi-phase-matching (QPM) theory, nonlinear optical crystals are fabricated into polarization-grating structures to compensate for phase mismatch caused by dispersion, thereby maximizing the utilization of the effective nonlinear coefficients of the nonlinear optical crystals and significantly enhancing the frequency-conversion performance of these crystals.
